FINAL PROVISIONS

1. LANGUAGE
Arabic shall be the official language of the Sudan, with English as the second
language of the Sudan. The government shall endeavour to develop other
languages.

2. AMENDMENT OF THE AGREEMENT
a) No bill of amendment to this Agreement shall be presented to the National
Assembly without consulting the Coordinating Council.

b) For amendment on this Agreement the Coordinating Council may present its
petition to the President of the Republic provided that such a bill is passed in
the Coordinating Council by a two-thirds majority.
